We spent the night at the Residence Inn in Weston last night. Little man is not great at riding in the car and got car sick 8 minutes before our hotel. This morning he was still out of sorts but complying and not complaining much which is unusual but I will take it. He is 3 1/2 and on the autism spectrum.
We got to the Park and Go lot much earlier than planned and rode the shuttle van all by ourselves to the port. Little man is on the list of passengers with special needs so they got us in pretty quickly but we still had to wait to board however, it wasn’t a line at least. Once onboard, we Cane across my sister and brother in law who had priority boarding because they are staying in a suite.
Our cabin was upgraded to Concierge Class but daughter and little man were not. We dropped our luggage off at our staterooms and took off to get them lunch before we went to lunch at Tuscan for concierge class guests. Our lunch was nice but so was the Oceanview Cafe.
Our next stop was to check little man into Camp at Sea. He was able to check things out while the questionnaire was being filled out. Then he and our daughter went back to the cabin for a nap. We went back and unpacked once our luggage was outside our cabin. Hubby took a nap while I put things away.
We decided to go up top and check things out before meeting up with my sister and brother in law at the Martini Bar. Then to pick up our daughter and little man at their cabin to head to dinner.
Dinner was extremely slow but little man managed to get through thanks to the help of a phone. We hate to do it but it’s better than him screaming his way through the meal in the restaurant.
Tomorrow we will be in Nassau.
